With heavy hearts, Bill's whanau sadly advise that at the age of 87 years, Bill is now reunited with his beloved "pearl of the reef" Leila. Son of the late George and Joan. Brother of Judy and Bill Richards, and Jenny and the late David Sims. Much loved dad of Steven and Meredith, Karen and Robyn Ngaia, Geoff and Deanne. Loved Koko Bill to his seven moko, twelve mokomoko, and one mokomokomoko. Whanau and friends are warmly invited to a gathering to remember and farewell Batch on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 at the TSB Hub, Waihi Road Hawera, commencing at 11.00am. Private cremation thereafter. A recording of Bill's funeral will be available from 10.00am Wednesday on his tribute page at www.hardingsfunerals.co.nz/tributes
