Passed away on Saturday, 3rd October 2026, in his 69th year. Husband of the late Ellen. Dearly loved father of Ema & Glen, and Bryce, and loved by his mokopunas Zion, Siobhorn, Shiloh, and Xavier, and their partners. Loved son of the late August and Sylvia, and brother of Christina, Marie-Anne, Therese, Gary, Darryle, and Linda. Loved brother-in-law and Uncle to many.

A celebration of Piet's life will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Shannon, on Wednesday 7 October at 11.00am, followed by burial at Shannon Cemetery.
