On 20 July 2026 in Raumati Beach, aged 81 years, John passed away surrounded by family. Much loved husband of Sue, and a wonderful dad and father-in-law to Shelley & Eddie, Emma & Dean, and Penny & the late Dave Bowman, and new mate Carl. Treasured granddad of Kieran, Luke, Shane, Daniel, Zac, Isla, Molly and Paige. Much loved son, brother and uncle. A wonderful friend and second grandad to many. John will live on in the heart and minds of all who knew and loved him. A service to celebrate John's adventures through life will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel, 9 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, on Thursday 23 July 2026 at 10am, followed by private cremation.
