It is with heavy hearts that we farewell the one and only Harry Newton (also known as Harold, Hautapu or Hazard). Words cannot truly express how much we loved him and how deeply he will be missed. He was a fighter right to the very end, showing the strength and courage that we will always remember him for. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the beautiful staff at Aroha Care Centre for the Elderly. Thank you for the kindness, compassion, dignity and love you showed our Dad. Your care and support meant so much to him and to our whole whānau.

Dad, you fought a good fight. Now it is time to rest.

Moe mai rā, Dad. Haere atu rā ki te wāhi ngaro.

You will remain forever in our hearts, loved beyond words and never forgotten.
