Gail IVES

Died tragically in Los Angeles on 16 August 2026 while on a family holiday. Amazing wife to Richard and devoted mother to Ben; loved daughter of Margaret and the late Bruce Heather; much-loved sister to Jane and Grant, and loved sister-in-law to Nick, Julie, Maureen and Alan, Shirley, Terry and Helen, & Sarah and David. A treasured aunt, sister and friend to many. "Miss Ives" was also a teaching institution at Wellington Girls' College for almost 40 years, leaving her mark on generations of students and colleagues. From Te Whiti Park to Fenway Park, our partnership endured and blossomed. It has ended far too soon but we have so many memories to cherish.
