Peacefully, on September 29, 2026 in Lower Hutt, aged 91. Beloved husband of the late Liz. Dearly loved father and grandfather of Bridget and Andrew, Michael and Sue, Kate and Pierren; and Chris and Cat, Rebecca, Erin and Gail, Conrad and Jessica. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Woburn Masonic Care for their kindness and support of Bill. Engineer, Arbitrator and Justice of the Peace. Ardent Forest & Bird supporter and conservationist. Night sky enthusiast. Supporter of the first defibrillators in NZ. Designer and Captain of canal boat NB Whio. Chocolate Fishing inventor. Avid reader and card player. Private cremation.
