On 3rd August 2026. Peacefully at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, aged 97 years. Beloved wife of Ron for 70 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Mark, Paula & Peter, Leslie & Ron, Shane & Debbie, Brian & Janice, Trish & Bidgi and Rob & Najat. Loved Grandma of her 19 grandchildren and GGma to 18 great-grandchildren. 20th July 1934 - 16th July 2026 Peacefully at Sevenoaks Village, Paraparaumu Beach. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter Charles Cronin. Happily married 63 years. Loved youngest child of Esther & Herbert Brown of Maxwell Pākaraka. Much loved mother of Karen of Kāpiti, Lorraine (1959 - 2023) of Hastings, and Deane of Featherston. Devoted grandmother of George, Seraphir, Amber, Ebony, Ethan, Julia, and Amy. A memorial service will be held at the Harbour City Funeral Home, 300 Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu, on Thursday, 30th July at 2.00pm. Followed by a private interment of Frances & Peter's ashes at Aramoho cemetery, Whanganui in the family plot. Special appreciation to the staff of Sevenoaks Village for their care and kindness of Frances. On 22 June 2026, at Shona McFarlane Retirement Village, aged 96 years. Devoted wife of the late Peter. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Brenda, Lance, Andrew & Maggie. Devoted and loved Por Por of Todd and devoted and loved Ma Ma of Josh, Kasey, Tommi and Arie. Sister of her late brothers, Albert, Guy and Wing. Loved by all her wider family and friends.
