KStJ, of Raumati Beach, formerly of Brooklyn and Wanganui. Died peacefully at Wellington Hospital on Friday 4 September 2026, aged 86, following a short illness. A deeply loved husband, dad, brother, grandad, great-grandad, uncle and friend, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. David dedicated his life to serving others. A public servant for 40 years, a lifelong member of St John, and a valued chair, board member and committee member of many school and community organisations, he lived a full and meaningful life.

A celebration service will be held at St Paul's Anglican Church, cnr Langdale Ave & Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu on Friday, 25 September 2026 at 2.00pm, followed by afternoon tea. To watch online kapiticoastfuneralhome.co.nz/livestream
