Celia died peacefully on 8 June 2026, in her 80th year, after a short illness. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Morrie Beckett. Fine sportswoman, world traveller, good neighbour, friend to many. Loved by her many cousins and their families. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 7 South, Wellington Hospital, and the palliative team, for their compassionate care for Celia in her last days.

A private cremation has been arranged.
