Passed away peacefully at Trinity Rest Home, Hawera on Friday 18th September 2026, following a long fight with dementia. Aged 88 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Roger and Diane, Jeanette and Michael How, and Christine Weller. Cherished Nan of Jared and Courtney, Aaron and Jenna, Bec and Brad, and Jenna, and her 7 Great-Grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Kath will be held in the South Taranaki funeral Services Chapel, 268 High Street, Hawera, on Thursday 24th September 2026, at 11.00am. All messages to the Whyte family can be sent to PO Box 183, Hawera. In accordance with the families wishes in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to South Taranaki Hospice.
