Peacefully, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, 52 years young. Passed at home, surrounded by her family, after a fully lived life. Finally at rest. Dearly loved mum of "her girls" Taana and Alannah, supported by their partners. Cherished eldest daughter of Hanny and Charlie. Much-loved step-daughter of Lynne. Adored sister and sister-in-law of Christine and John, Tony, Emma and Michael, and Carla and Gary. Loved Aunty Nic to her many nieces and nephews. Dear niece and cousin of her large extended family. Previous spouse of Duane, father to her girls. Special thanks to the staff of Te Ruru & Mairehau Road for all the amazing care provided to Nic over the last seven years, and for their support of our family as we navigated the last years of Nic's life. We welcome everyone to join us in the celebration of Nicola's life at Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane, Rangiora at 3.00pm, Wednesday, September 2, 2026. In memory of Nic's favourite season, please wear the colours of Spring.

In lieu of flowers, Nic's family would appreciate donations to the Huntington's Disease Association.
