Passed away peacefully but unexpected at Christchurch Hospital on September 27, 2026. A dearly loved wife of the late Des and Max, a loved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Messages c/- the Alderton family to 78 Brisbane Street, Waltham Christchurch 8023.

A celebration of Janet's life will be held at the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, cnr of Linwood Ave and Keighley's Road, on Thursday October 1 at 2.00pm.
