Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, aged 68 years. Much loved son of the late Selwyn and Anne. Treasured and much loved special brother and brother-in-law to Peter and Anne, Jeffrey and Brenda, and Michael. Loved uncle to his nephews, and cherished great-uncle to his great-nephews and nieces. Loved nephew of Rob and Margaret Birchfield (Motueka), Lyn and Ian Owens (Waikanae), George and Shirley Schroeder (both dec), Alistair and Kathy Schroeder (Barrytown). Thank you to the carers at IDEA Services for their help and support during Chris' life. Chris had many happy years with his flatmates at his Golding Ave residence in Rangiora, and he loved going on holiday to Okiwi Bay and Motueka. Of Rotomanu, Rangiora and Richmond (Nelson). Passed away on July 17, 2026, aged 93. Dearly loved husband of the late Caroline. Father to Sarah and Dave, Stephen and Amy, and brother-in-law to Ann. Much loved grandad to James, Matthew and Mika and Simeon. Remembered fondly by his extended family, nephews and nieces and friends. The family is particularly grateful to those who supported Tim in Richmond and the staff who cared for him at Bainswood House and Christchurch Hospital. Much loved and respected father and father-in-law to Hamish and Bronwyn, and Nichola (Holland) and Dave Taylor. Treasured and loved Grandad to Oakley, Cooper and Madison.
