James JACKSON

On Monday, July 13, 2026, at Christchurch Hospital, with family by his side, after a long battle with heart failure, fought with courage; aged 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Liz, much loved dad and father-in-law of Penny and Craig, loved brother of Margaret and the late Jeanette and brother of Barbara and the late Janice, a loved uncle of Maria, Alison and Ben and the late Lynne and Vicki, and great-uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved by his grand fur babies Buddy and Bella. Thank you to the many medical professionals who supported Jim on his journey.

A Celebration of Jim's life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Saturday, July 25, at 2.00pm.
