It is with heavy hearts, we share that Claire passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026; aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late Eric. Adored and cherished mother of Anne, Mary, Kathleen, James, and Christine, beloved mother-in-law of Wayne, Jeff and Dave. Adored grandmother of Michael, Georgia, Madi, Christopher, Olivia, Daniel, Charlotte, and Cassie, and a beloved great-grandmother.

Messages to the Dougherty family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Teresa of Lisieux Church, 1/8 Puriri Street, Riccarton, Christchurch, on Friday, August 14, at 1.00pm. Interment thereafter at the Shands Road Cemetery.
