Beloved wife of John Holdforth Mauger (dec) for 53 years. Daughter of Wirihana Tipene Apatu and Minola (Molly) Eva Apatu (née Evans). Sister of Reihana Frederick (dec), Minola Hinekatorangi (dec), Wirihana Terrence (dec), Ashley Kanara (dec), Kenneth Tamatekapua (dec) and Taranaki Stuart Renata. Mother of Jenny Winipere, Donna Michelle, Sandra Minola and Cécile. Nan of Katorangi, Nikki, Kelly, Anna, Josh, Lewis, Tauhe, Te UaMairangi (dec) and Jonti.

Returning home - ki Hawaiki nui, Hawaiki roa, Hawaiki pamamao.

Winipere will be laying at Omahu Marae, 1857 Korokipo Road, Fernhill, today, Thursday, 24 September with Karakia at 6.00pm. Her service will be held at the Marae on Friday, 25 September at 2.00pm.
