Peacefully at Wellington Hospital, on 4 July 2026, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Grace Ellen. Much loved father of John and Huia, Stephen, Lynley and Karen, Reon and Catherine; cherished grandfather of Ben and Aaron; Jamie, Damien, Cara and Jasmine; Kelly, Renee, Nicole and Karlyn; Melissa, Kate and Neeve and all his great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the Dr's and nursing staff at Wellington Hospital and Charles Fleming Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.

A service to celebrate his life will be held in the Whenua Tapu Crematorium Chapel, Airlie Road, Pukerua Bay, on Wednesday 8 July at 11.00am.
