Bill passed away surrounded by love on Saturday 26 September 2026 at home after a very brave battle with cancer. He was 73 years young. Bill was dearly loved by his wife and best friend Christine Harris, his daughters Emma, Robyn and her partner Craig. Much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. According to Bill's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

A Memorial Celebration of Bill's life will be held next week at 12.30pm on Friday 9th October at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae. For those who can't attend, a live-stream can be viewed at https://shorturl.at/d9LPW. The family would like to thank Mary Potter Hospice Kapiti who took exceptional care of Bill. A donation box will be available at the service.
