Brightie passed away peacefully on Sunday 16 August 2026. Devoted wife to the late Dr Henry Perera. Beloved and cherished mother to Michelle. Treasured companion to her much loved late Hilary, and grand fur mama to Stanley. Older sister to her adored late brother Luckie, loving sister-in-law to Chandra, and cherished Aunty to Christopher.

A private cremation service was held to farewell Brightie. Michelle would like to thank the staff at Village at the Park for the love and care provided to Brightie over the last few years.
