Passed away in Rotorua on 22nd July 2026, aged 91 years, after a short illness. Born in Napier on 11 October 1934 and later lived in Palmerston North, Wellington, Auckland and Rotorua. Loved wife of Derk (Dick) Jan Haverkamp (d. 1996), mother and mother-in-law of Karen Knight, Richard Haverkamp and Ingrid Snyman and their partners, grandmother of Tui, Sacha, Jenny, and Jacob (d. 2026) and partners, step-grandmother of Wynand and Ruan and partners, great-grandmother of Addie. An intelligent, kind and generous person.
