On 26 July 2026 Ron died at home (aged 96). His dearly beloved wife (Dorothy) was with him. He will be sadly missed by his cousin, Mary Kubler, and her husband Gunter (Auckland). He will be sadly missed by his good friends Rosalie and Alan Thurston and

Kirsty Boyd. A private cremation will take place.
