Of the Church of Our Lady of Kapiti, unexpectedly on the Sunday 16 August 2026.

Dearly loved son, brother, uncle. Fr Pene will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters within the several Catholic communities he has served for over 38 years.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady Of Kapiti, 1 Presentation Way, Paraparaumu, on Friday 21 August 2026 at 11.00am, thereafter interment at Karori Cemetery. A Vigil service will be held in Church on Thursday 20 August at 6.00pm. To livestream Fr Pene's Mass or leave a tribute please visit www.hcfh.co.nz.
