On Wednesday 19th August 2026 nine days short of his 90th birthday. Dearly loved husband of Clare Somerville. Father of daughter Eloise, sons John and Troy; father-in-law to Paul and June. Grandfather to Arlo, Robyn and Miles. Great-grandfather to Sélène. Warm family, friend and colleague to many here and around the world. Remembered for his big laugh, warm nature, loyalty, strength, intellect and love of a good story and political debate.

A celebration of Reg's life will be held for family and friends.
