Passed away peacefully on Thursday 16 July 2026, aged 85 years. Devoted husband of the late Sandra (Sandy). Dearly loved father of Yvonne, Sharon, and Andrew. A cherished grandfather to 8, great-grandfather to 12, and great-great-grandfather to 3. A respected and much-loved retired university professor whose teaching, research, and mentorship enriched the lives of many. A joint funeral service to celebrate the lives of Norman and Sandy will be held at the Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North, on Friday 24 July 2026 at 9.00am.
