Michael STEFANOGIANNIS

On Thursday 10th September 2026. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael. Michael passed away peacefully at Rita Angus, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Eftyhia, loved father and father-in-law of Niki and Kosta, treasured Pappou of Antony and Mihali and beloved brother and uncle. We are deeply grateful to the staff at Rita Angus Retirement Village for looking after our father and pappou with care and dignity in the last weeks of his life. The family welcome family and friends who would like to pay their respects on Saturday 12 September and Sunday 13 September between 3.00pm and 6.00pm at 82 Endeavour Street, Lyall Bay. A service for Michael will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth Giver of God), 3 Hania St, Mount Victoria on Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 10.00am, thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral may be left at the service.
