Died peacefully on 29 September 2026, aged 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Ian. Dearly loved mother of Kim, Stacey, Jamie and Lauchie, and mother-in-law of Mike, Deb and Jo. Treasured Lala of Will, George, Annabel, Zoe and Mackenzie. Loved sister of Maitland and Sue, and sister-in-law of Shona, Helen, Tony, David (deceased) and Krys (deceased). The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the Wellington Hospital Renal team for their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Margaret Stewart House would be appreciated. These can be made via the Wellington branch of the Cancer Society with reference to Margaret Stewart House. CANCER SOCIETY OF NZ WGTN DIV INC 06-0577-0064826-02 A celebration of Betty's life will be held in early 2027.
