Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, 7 September 2026, having lived a wonderful 97 years. Much loved and devoted husband of Anne. Proud father of Catherine, Michelle, and Michael. Loved father-in-law to Wally, Brian, and Rachel. Cherished "Poppa" to Tez, John, Billy, Lliam, Brie, and Dan, and his 14 great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be said at St Marys Church, Ruahine Street, Palmerston North, at 7pm Thursday, 10 September, followed by a Requiem Mass to celebrate Mike's life at 10.30am, Friday, 11 September 2026, and he will rest at Kelvin Grove Cemetery.
