Melva HOUSTON

Of Paraparaumu, passed away on Monday, 24th August 2026, aged 93 years young. Dearly loved wife of Andy. Sister to Judy, Annette, Paul and Peter. Mother and mother-in-law of Lisa and James, Jan and Sose, Scott and Lynda. Cherished Granny Melva to AJ, Mia, Eli, Scarlet and Evie. Beloved Aunty to Wayne, Shaun, Dean and Robyn. A loved and special friend to so many. Melva will be remembered as a strong, independent woman, full of grace and dignity, generous and kind to everyone she met. Her presence brightened a room and her quiet strength inspired us all.

A service to celebrate Melva's life will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, 300 Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu, on Tuesday 1st September at 11.00am, thereafter a private cremation.
