Passed away peacefully on 18 June 2026, aged 66, at Wellington Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Janice. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Catherine & Bob Hill (deceased), and Tony & June Roseingrave, Trevor and Stephen Wood. Much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr Victoria Campion, Catherine Wood and the team at Blood and Cancer Services at Wellington Hospital for their wonderful care.

A service to celebrate Matt's life will be held on Wednesday 24th June 2026 at St Teresa's Catholic Church, 301 Karori Road, Karori, at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.
