On 16 September 2026, surrounded by family, at Hutt Hospital, aged 85 years. Treasured partner of the late Colleen McKay. Loved father of Robert and David, and father-in-law of Stephanie and Jenny. Devoted grandfather of Harrison, Baxter and Erin. Brother of the late Teresa, Christy, the late Barbara, Joe, Margaret and Stephen. Loved by all of his wider family and friends, in Ireland, the UK and New Zealand. Special thanks to the staff of Hutt Hospital for their exceptional care and support of Martin. Martin's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, 5 Palmer Crescent, Heretaunga, Upper Hutt, on Friday 25 September 2026 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.
