NZ Police (1943 intake). Of Raumati Beach. Peacefully at home on Tuesday 4 August 2026. Aged 104 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Tom. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Carol & Elliott. Loved nana of David & Hannah, Donald & Rachel, Lynley & Tony, and William & Agnes. Great-grandmother of Larson, Eva, Harvey, Alice, and Marlene.

A service to celebrate Marie's life will be held at the Kapiti Uniting Raumati Church, Weka Road, Raumati Beach, on Friday 14 August 2026 at 1.30pm, to be followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance (www.wfa.org.nz) would be appreciated.
