Mag.e Read died on Monday, 14 September 2026 surrounded by family. Much loved Mum to Kim, Kiri and Deryn; Grandma to James and Ashlee-Sam, Mag.e.gran to Phoebe, Calypso and Kinglsey; and Rugra to Milo and Tahu. We know she is so very happy to be reunited with her triplet sisters Jenny and Robyn, her older sister Cheryl and her Mum and Dad, Dave and Maisie. Mag.e was a strong creative personality who touched the lives of many all over the world with her zest for life. She was always up for adventure and so she had many. There will be a service held at The Pines, 50 The Esplanade, Houghton Bay, Wellington, at 2.00pm, on Friday, October 2nd. Please come dressed for one last colourful celebration.
