Aged 87 years. Peacefully at Shona McFarlane Retirement Village, on 17 September 2026. Dearly loved and loving wife of Henry (Harry) for 66 years, special mother and mother-in-law of Alan, John & Julie, Russell, and Barbara. Dearly loved by her grandchildren Marina, James, Peter, Gloria, Andrew, Christina, Lukas, and Mark. Thanks to the staff of Shona Macfarlane for their care and support of Jean over the past 3 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellington Free Ambulance.

A service for Jean will be held in the Croft Centennial Chapel, 2 Osborne Place (off Queens Drive), Lower Hutt, on Tuesday 22 September at 1.00pm. Those unable to attend Jean's service may view the livestream through the Croft Funeral Home website.
