Joan WHIPP

Born Eton, London, UK on 3 July, 1937. Passed away peacefully, aged 88 years, on 25 June 2026, surrounded by family, at Oakwoods Retirement Village in Richmond. Much loved wife of Peter; mother-in-law of Sam and Jan, Barb and Joe, Mike and April, and Donna; Nana of Tessa, Steve and Izzy; sister-in-law of Jill, Lindsay, and Diana. Joan brought light, joy, laughter, and a bit of cheek to all who knew her. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the staff and residents of Oakwoods for all their support, kindness, messages, and visits. The details of a summer memorial service, to be held at Club Waimea, 345 Queen Street, Richmond, will be announced closer to time.
