Passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospital on August 30, 2026 surrounded by whanau. Dearly loved and peerless mother, grandmother, sister, aunty,cousin, and friend to many beyond counting. Her sons Anthony, Rewiri and Tama, brother Atholl, sisters Mary & Margaret, mokopuna Shaan & Roimata invite wider whanau and friends to a service to celebrate Jane's life at Island Bay Marine Education Centre, Octopus Headquarters, 251 The Esplanade, Island Bay, starting at 11.00am on Thursday, September 3, to be followed by a private burial. Messages for the whanau can be sent to Wellington City Funerals, 352 Tinakori Road, Thorndon, Wellington, or via the website wellingtoncityfunerals.co.nz/funerals.
