Suddenly, on 3rd September 2026, at Hastings Memorial Hospital. Adored husband and best friend of Trudi. Loved father to Rory and Sarah. A special man to Charlie and Sam, and Rupert and Molly. Poppa to Leo and Rocco. Very special thanks to all the emergency staff who attended, and the amazing, compassionate nurses and doctors who helped us get through the day. A service for Ian will be held at 'Stonehaven' Chapel, 10 Peel Street, Waipukurau, on Friday 11th September at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Hawke's Bay Helicopter Trust or St John Ambulance would be appreciated.
