Of The Cove, Dunedin. On July 29, 2026, with his family by his side; aged 84 years. Loved husband of Annabel, loved Big Dad of Karl and Dale, Steph, Cam, and Susie and Devon; grandfather of Gabriel, Lilith, and Mickey; grandpapa of Jeanne and Alexandra; great-grandad of Eden and Elkie. Thank you to the staff at Dunedin Hospital and the Otago Community Hospice for their care and support.

A service to celebrate Erik's life will be held in First Church of Otago, Moray Place, Dunedin at 11.00am on Monday, August 3, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages can be left on Erik's page at www.hopeandsons.co.nz where there is a link to the service.
