On July 17, 2026, peacefully at Sprott House, Karori, with Brett at her side, in her 78th year. Dearly loved wife of Brett. Loved sister of Alex and Susan, and sister-in-law of Kathy. Loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Much loved and supported by her many friends. Special thanks to Dr Ros Wall, the nurses, carers and staff at Sprott House for their exceptional level of care and compassion.

A private cremation will be held. A gathering to celebrate Erica's wonderful life will be held in the Wellington Club, 88 The Terrace, on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 1.00pm.
