On 29TH June 2026, died peacefully at Te Hopai Home and Hospital, Newtown, aged 94 years. Beloved member of the Sisters of Compassion for 67 years. Loved daughter of the late Eric and Winifred Nansett, loved sister of Colleen (dec), Michael and Natalie. Much loved Aunt to her nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

May she rest in peace.

A Vigil will be held at Our Lady's Home of Compassion, 2 Rhine Street, Island Bay (off Murray Street), on Wednesday 1st July at 3.00pm. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the above Chapel on Thursday 2nd July at 11.00am, followed by interment at Karori Cemetery. Thank you to the staff at Te Hopai Home, your loving care of Sr Therese Couderc was appreciated.
