We are sad to announce that Emilia Teresa Wernicka-Wala suddenly passed away on 13 July 2026, at Wellington Hospital, aged 93. Dearly loved mother and mother-in law of Renata & Ray Hardy, and Wes & Tracey Wernicki. Babcia to Angelina, Laura, Kristopher, and Juliana. In accordance with Emily's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

A memorial service is planned and will be advised when arrangements are finalised.
