Of Pahiatua, on Thursday 27th August 2026, peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of Ross for 54 years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Jo and Mark Hughson; and Duncan and Natalie. Treasured Nana of Cate, and Tom Hughson; and Jack, Lachie, Fletcher, and Sophia. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Andrew (deceased) and Sally Doig; and Jill and Brooke Barwick. Special thanks to the staff of Summerset Aokautere for their care of Ann.

Donations in lieu of flowers to Manawatu Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service to celebrate Ann's life will be held at St Peter's Anglican Church, Albert Street, Pahiatua, on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 1.30pm.
