Of Feilding, passed away peacefully on Sunday 12 July 2026, aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of Eileen. Much loved Dad and father-in-law of Rachel and Maurice, Trix and Aaron, Paul and Rebecca. Grandad of Hayden; Josh, and Sinead; Conor, Brenna, and Gabbie; Great-Grandad of Bohdi. Messages for John's family may be left via cottonfunerals.co.nz/funerals. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Wimbledon Villa for their care.

A service for John will be held in the St John's Anglican Church, 16 Camden Street, Feilding, on Monday 20 July 2026, at 1.30pm.
