With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Edward Michael Harold Heslin (Ted), aged 85, who passed away peacefully on 1st July 2026. Devoted and darling husband to Anne Louise. Much-loved Daddy to Penny and Mellissa, and adored "Teddy Boy" to Donna, Anita, Christina, and Rebecca. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Shona McFarlane Retirement Village for their compassionate care and support. A service to celebrate Ted's life will be held at Karori Chapel on Tuesday, 7 July, at 3.00 pm, followed by a private cremation.
