Douglas CLINGAN

On 6 September 2026, passed away peacefully, aged 92 years, surrounded by family at Wellington Hospital. A proud Scotsman. Served with the British Army RASC (Malaya), and also as a CSM with the NZ Scottish Regiment. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret (Peggy) Moore, adored dad of Graeme, Andrew and Diane, loving grandad of Jamie and Daniel, and great-grandad of Ella. Special thanks to family and friends who have been a huge support to us through this difficult time, and to the staff of Wellington Free Ambulance and Wellington Hospital for their care of Doug.

A service for Doug will be held at the Cockburn St Chapel, cnr of Cockburn St and Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie, Wellington, on Friday 11 September 2026 at 1.30pm, thereafter private cremation.
