Died peacefully on 17 August 2026, in Wellington. Born 3 March 1942, in Fielding, the second son of Irma and Ebb Short, brother to Graham, Ian, and the late Peter. Loved by his children Andrea, Robert, and Jessica; his partner Alaine and her daughter Lauren; his grandchildren Eden, Sarah, Emma, Ryan and Sam, and great-granddaughter Goldie. The family extends thanks to Mary Potter Hospice staff for their care and support.
