Passed on 12th September 2026, aged 79 years, after stoically facing his final days. An adored father of Debbie, Michelle, Lisa, and Robert, and of their families, of his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. The brother and brother-in-law who will be deeply missed by Peter and Jill, Craig and Donna. A devoted family man, loyal mate, a JP, and a people person who was generous with his time. An accomplished brass bandsman and proud participant in the NZ marching community.

A celebration of David's life will be held at the Salvation Army Hall, 11 Durham Street, Levin, on Friday 18th September 2026 at 1.30pm. In accordance with David's wishes, Levin and Districts Brass will lead a massed band at this service to celebrate.
