Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 19 September 2026, aged 88. Beloved daughter of George & Florence Gibbs, and sister of Mick and Valerie. Loved wife of the late Basil McKay, and adored partner of the late Martin Howley. Devoted mother and mother-in-law to Patrick & Sharon, Robin & Patsy, and Peter & Rosie. Treasured by her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Te Omanga Hospice would be appreciated. Requiem Mass will be held in Our Lady of Grace Church, 5 Palmer Crescent, Heretaunga, Upper Hutt, on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, at 11.00am.
