Colin SMITH

Our wonderful husband and father left us on 26 August 2026, aged 96 years. Married to Ngaire for 67 years. He was a devoted father of Madeline, Nicholas (Glasgow), Jeremy (Jay) and Janie (dec) and loved father-in-law of Lynne (Glasgow) and Philippa. Son of the late Eileen Smith née Millman and brother of the late Ian W K Smith. His working life was spent in the Wellington printing industry, and in his leisure time he was a keen tramper, photographer and audiophile. Our grateful thanks to Te Hopai, Vincentian and Irwell for their current and past care.

A service for Colin will be held at the Cockburn St Chapel, Cnr of Cockburn St and Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie, Wellington on Thursday 3 September 2026 at 12.30pm, thereafter burial at Karori Cemetery.
