Our big North Star passed peacefully at Christchurch hospital on Monday, August 17, 2026 aged 74. Much loved sister of the late Barbara, and David. Sister-in-law of Warren and Jennie, and cherished aunt of Stephen and Kate, Richard and Rikki, Hugh and Anna, and Jeremy, and their families. Close and dear friend to many. Her light will never dim. A huge thank you to the skilled and wonderful ED and Respiratory teams at the hospital, and to the Nurse Maude teams that provided home care. In accordance with her wishes, an informal gathering to celebrate Chris's life will be held at The Cashmere Club, 88 Hunter Terrace on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 2.00pm.
