Suddenly, but peacefully passed away on 24th August, 2026, in Wellington. Beloved wife of Dougal for 57 years, and mother of Julia, Andrea and Claire. Loved mother-in-law of Perry, Curtis and Simon. Proud and adored grandmother of Samuel, Oscar, Daniel, Gracie, Ethan, Quinn, Daisy and Matilda. As well as a cherished friend to many. A caring, vivacious and always stylish lady; who will be dearly missed.

A service will be held at St. John's in the City, Willis Street, Wellington, at 11am on Friday, 4th September 2026; followed by a private cremation. To celebrate Carolyn, wear something colourful.
